Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)
Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership is an impact-led institute within the University of Cambridge, working globally with business, finance and government to advance sustainability leadership and systemic change. Its executive education programmes support corporate leaders worldwide in embedding sustainability into strategy and operations.
Through a long-standing partnership, we have managed, evolved and secured its Moodle-based learning platform, supporting thousands of users across global executive programmes.
The engagement
CISL required a specialist Moodle partner to lead the ongoing evolution of its executive learning platform.
The objective was to ensure the environment remained secure, scalable and aligned with institutional standards while supporting global programme delivery.
Operational stewardship
We continuously refine the user experience and visual system, elevating the core Moodle interface while preserving its robustness as a learning management system.
We manage and evolve the platform through major version upgrades, UX and UI modernisation and extension development, ensuring the learning environment remains secure, scalable and aligned with the standards of the University of Cambridge.
We manage secure single sign-on (SSO) to support corporate access, alongside tailored reporting tools and integration with the University’s payment gateway for secure and auditable transactions.
We have worked with Twin Dots on our Moodle for a few years now and they have been an excellent partner throughout. They manage our hosting, data, updates, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring the platform remains secure, stable, and fully operational at all times. They are consistently responsive, quick to resolve any issues, and proactive in offering practical solutions.
